Juliana has been a vibrant and passionate force within the Newborn Hope community. What began as a simple desire to give back through a local fundraiser soon blossomed into a deeply personal and creative journey — one that has touched lives across Colorado. From co-chairing signature events and serving on the Corporate Board to capturing heartfelt moments behind the camera and lending her artistic talent to our campaigns, Juliana’s story is one of unwavering dedication, compassion, and impact. Her journey reflects the very heart of Newborn Hope: a mission powered by people who believe every preemie deserves a chance to thrive.

Juliana’s Newborn Hope Story

My involvement with Newborn Hope began over 16 years ago when I joined the Pueblo Committee to help with the annual luncheon fundraisers. What started as a way to give back quickly became a meaningful part of my life.

In 2012, I joined the Corporate Board, which provided me with a broader understanding of Newborn Hope’s statewide efforts. I also had the privilege of co-chairing the first two Heart to Heart Luncheons in Pueblo. I have always found the energy, dedication, and generosity of Newborn Hope’s volunteers, donors, and staff truly exceptional.

From the start, I was impressed with Newborn Hope’s commitment to fiscal responsibility—every dollar is carefully used to support Colorado families impacted by prematurity. Serving in the granting process further deepened my understanding of how vital our support is to hospitals and healthcare partners across the state. The grants we provide are instrumental in expanding access to neonatal care, improving health outcomes, and delivering much-needed direct assistance to families.

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of photographing many of Newborn Hope’s beautiful events at venues such as the Broadmoor, the Pueblo Country Club, and the Garden of the Gods Resort. I have loved capturing and witnessing those moments—the connections, celebrations, and heartfelt stories in our communities.

For the past six years, I’ve also had the opportunity to support Newborn Hope through creative design work. I’ve worked closely with the team to develop campaign graphics and logos for social media, the website, printed mailings, and even a billboard!

I am continually inspired by Newborn Hope's mission, its devoted leadership, and the significant impact it has across Colorado. It’s been an honor and a joy to collaborate with such dynamic, talented, and compassionate individuals.
